Most photo puzzle services treat your image as raw material for a novelty item. Puzzably treats it as the starting point for something designed to be kept. Every custom puzzle we produce is printed at 200+ DPI print-validated, cut to tight tolerances, and packaged in a collector tin that works equally well as a gift or a display shelf companion.
Start with your own photo, or choose from the Puzzably catalog of original, artist-designed illustrations. Either way, the result is a custom jigsaw puzzle, in six sizes from 30 to 2,000 pieces, built to be assembled, framed, and shown off.
How it works
1. Choose your image or browse the catalog
Upload a photo from your phone or computer, or pick a ready-made design from Puzzably's collection of original artwork.
2. You approve the exact design before checkout
Your image is checked for resolution at output size and shown cropped to the puzzle's shape. If your file will not hold up at the size you picked, that size is flagged before you pay, not after the tin arrives. The design you approve at checkout is exactly the design we print.
3. Printed and precision cut
We print at 200+ DPI print-validated, and die-cutting is calibrated to each size's finished dimensions, from 25 x 20 cm at 30 pieces up to 102 x 71 cm at 2,000, so every piece seats firmly and the assembled puzzle lies flat.
4. Ships ready to give or display
Your puzzle ships as a finished, giftable object, not a pile of pieces in a bag. Slide it onto a shelf, hand it to someone, or frame it when it is done. The packaging never shows a price.

At 500 pieces, the finished size (530 x 390 mm) matches a standard 50x70cm frame available at most home furnishing stores, so that size requires no custom framing if you want to display it.

Our default is 252 pieces at $54.99, a focused afternoon build at 14 x 11 in. 500 pieces ($69.99, 21 x 15.5 in) is the classic weekend puzzle, large enough to be satisfying to sort and handle, whether the image is a portrait, a landscape, or a piece of catalog art. 1000 and 2000 pieces are there for the big builds, and 30 pieces ($34.99) or 110 pieces ($44.99) suit a quicker build.
Why Puzzably, not a generic photo puzzle service
Most photo puzzle options are sold as impulse gifts. The image is scanned, output at whatever resolution happens to work, and cut on mass-production equipment sized for the cheapest stock available. The result is a soft print, flimsy pieces, and a box that looks like a party favour.

Frequently asked questions
What image format should I upload?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC, up to 25 MB, at a minimum of 1500px on the short edge. For best results, aim for 3000px or more on the long edge. Resolution is checked at print size when you upload, and a size your file cannot support is flagged before checkout.
Can I customise a catalog design?
Not currently. Catalog designs are sold as originals created by Puzzably artists. The personalised route is to upload your own photo. If you have a specific creative request, contact us and we will try to help.
How long does production and shipping take?
Your puzzle arrives in about 2 weeks from the day you order, covering production and transit. We ship within the US only, and shipping is free.
What is the return or reprint policy?
If your puzzle arrives damaged or there is a print defect, we reprint and reship at no charge. We ask for a photo of the issue. We cannot accept returns on custom orders because each puzzle is made to order, but a quality problem is always our responsibility to fix.
Is the packaging giftable?
Yes. The packaging is designed to be given without additional wrapping, and it never shows a price. If you would like a gift note, add one at checkout; it travels digitally with the order confirmation email.
